Six teams participated in the Medical Hackathon which took place within Cardiology Innovation Days 2019 in Wroclaw.

All teams demonstrated creativity, ingenuity and determination, presenting complete concepts and prototypes of applications supposed to support patients with heart failure, help them control their disease and accompany them in everyday life.

CardiAnna is a medical assistant for both patients and doctors which stores all patient's medical records. A patient can manage access to his documentation, making it available to doctors if needed. Doctors, in turn, can view patient records at any time.

Access to CardiAnna is possible from PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.

Cardio Check is an application for diagnostics and triage of medical conditions. It checks symptoms using machine learning and Bajes statistics algorithms.

The application contains the most up-to-date medical database, based on the latest scientific achievements (e.g. PubMed) and is verified by doctors. Given that, a patient is able to check the causes of his symptoms, see how serious they are and what should be done next - a patient receives reliable and accurate information.

It is a system enabling control of the effectiveness of treatment of a patient suffering from chronic heart failure, enabling a patient to input into system his measured parameters on a daily basis. It laso allows to generate monthly charts based on the collected results, and to send aggregated charts to a physician after 90 days.

Stay dry is also a guide in case disease symptoms appear.

In addition to this, the application allows to quickly identify edema by self-made ultrasound at home - so that a patient remains "dry".
